  • If TKT REP represents me, will I have to pay my penalty to the court in advance?
Since you will be represented by an attorney at the arraignment, TKT REP will be able to ask the court to release you until your ticket trial date without having to pay your ticket bail/penalty up front. That way, if your ticket is dismissed, you won’t have to wait around for weeks to get your money back from the court.
  • How do I get Representation?
To begin the process we need you to tell us about your ticket. You can use our online form or call us at 818-253-1781. After we review your information, we’ll let you know if we can handle your case.
  • What happens if have to pay a fine after my trial?
While we have been very successful in getting tickets dismissed and fines reduced, we cannot guaranty the results of any given ticket. TKT will always let you know how the trial went, and if fines are due, we will request additional time from the court for you to pay them. We will also let you know how and when you need to make any payments.
  • If I have been advised of the dismissal of a ticket, do I need to do anything more?
No. If your ticket was dismissed the Court should reflect that in their docketing system and the matter will not appear on your driving record.
  • Does the flat fee include my ticket fee?
The flat fee is not a prepayment of any fines, penalties or costs that might be ordered by the court. While we have been very successful in getting tickets dismissed and fines reduced, the flat fee is not a guarantee that your ticket will be dismissed or that it will not go on your record.
  • What services does the flat fee cover?
For a simple flat fee, TKT REP will handle traffic infractions by appearing in court and acting as your legal representative at the traffic ticket arraignment hearing and trial. The flat fee does not include any other related legal service, including, but not limited to, appeals, discovery, law and motion, insurance matters, DMV hearings and other claims or hearings.
  • I want to contest a ticket, but I know I did it. Should I still contest?
Yes. Contesting a ticket preserves your rights. Just because you agree that you committed the infraction doesn’t necessarily mean you deserve a ticket. In every instance, the prosecution must prove that you committed the infraction. Just because you’re contesting does not mean that you have to testify, that the officer will appear at trial, or that they can prove their case, so you should still contest.
  • Do I have to personally appear in court?
In most cases, for a basic infraction, such as a speeding ticket, it is not necessary to appear. We appear so that you don’t have to. The real decision factor is a cost benefit analysis that each client will have to make. If it costs you more to miss work, school or some special occasion then it probably is not necessary to appear. In fact, most of our clients retain us because they don’t want to deal with the hassle of going to court. However, if you are available and want to see the process or be involved in your case, we welcome your participation. All we ask is that you inform our office, so that if we continue, reset or reschedule, we can inform you for proper timing.

Filling out our online form is the first step in the process of getting representation. TKT REP however, is not retained until payment is received and the prospective client receives written confirmation from TKT REP.
